The High Rock

My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him.  He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken. 

Psalms 62:1

I love you, O Lord, my strength.  The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Hear my cry, O God; attend to my prayer.  From the end of the earth I will cry to You.  When my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the rock that is higher than I.  For you have been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.
