Milk is predigested food. Those who are feeding on it are far less capable of communicating with God directly and must instead rely on others to transmit God's message to them. 1 Corintians 3:3

Heavenly light
Heavenly light comes in through the conscience to expose fault and condemn failure whenever we think, speak, or act in a way unbecoming as saints. By submitting to its illumination and by eliminating what it exposes, we allow it to do its work; thus the conscience acts as a window that has been enlarged for more light to shine through to us in the future. Unfortunately, if we allow sins to accumulate in our lives, the opposite occurs: the size of the window diminishes, eventually allowing no light at all to penetrate.

soul_controlled
It is the soulish (soul-controlled) person who gains assurance by grasping things that can be seen and felt. The opposite of sight and touch is faith. One who follows the spirit lives by faith, not sight (2cor.5:7).

Center Outward
One way to discern between the work of God and the work of Satan in one's spiritual life is this: God always works from the center outward to the circumference, while Satan works from the circumference inward to the center.
Good Monday morning.
