God giveth quietness. Job 34:29

God gives quietness in the midst of the raging storm...

He waves his hand, signaling the end of the raging tempest and the beginning of the restful calm. His voice is heard above the screaming of the wind through the ropes and rigging, and over the thrashing of the waves. "Quiet! Be still! (Mark 4:39).

Can you not hear it? And instantly there is a great calm.

In the wilderness shall waters break out.

Feeling a little anxious about life?

No that the Lord is to be our source of supply. In him are springs, fountains, and streams that will never be cut off or run dry.

To those who are anxious comes the gracious promise of our heavenly Father.

If he is the source of our mercies, mercy will never fail us.

Proverbs 3:21-26

My son and daughter, preserve sound judgment and discernment, do not let them out of your sight; they will be life for you, an ornament to grace your neck. Then you will go on your way in safety, and your foot will not stumble; when you lie down , you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.

In your heart set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. 1 Peter 3:15-16
