Happy Sunday

To be saved by grace is relatively simple, but to serve by grace is much higher.  It is grace that enables us to serve God  the most abundant grace that God has bestowed on us.

Cowards

The greatest coward in the world is one who oppresses the weak and the small.

Are you a giver?

Many today try to lay hold of Philippians 4:19: "My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."  Do we see, though, that God supplies the givers, not the askers? Only the givers have the right to use this verse; those who do not give are not entitled to the privilege.

Concentrating

If one is concentrating on his thoughts, his eyes will not be focusing on the Lord.

WOW

John 14:6

Aside from Christ there is no way, no truth, and no life, for He is the sum of all these spiritual things.



We have to do the work



If Christ is not our life, we have to do the work; but if Christ has become our life, we do not need to struggle.

hmmmm!!!  Christ is my life but at times I struggle.

Help me understand this one.

Remember

Work is not the life of Christ, for life is effortless. Christ is life.

Whatever is

Whatever is not Christ living in us is a dead work.  Even every spiritual thing is dead outside of Christ.

Though there is

Though there is no deliverance among those who know just a method, there is total deliverance for those who know the Lord.

Grace

A child of God is to live his life on earth exclusively by the grace of God.  Grace implies that which is done solely by God as a gift to us.  Therefore, men should have no part in that which God has declared is His responsibility to fulfill (Rom. 11:6).

Faithful in dealing

If a child of God is faithful in dealing with his sins and faithfully follows his conscience, he will receive light increasingly form heaven so as to expose sins that were previously unnoticed.  As this process takes place, the Holy Spirit enables one to understand more of God's law that is written on his heart, transforming what were previously vague ideas about holiness, righteousness, purity, and honesty into clearly understood realities (Ps.36:9; 1 John 1:7).

ELIMINATION

I release anything and everything that no longer serves my unfolding good.

"spiritual man"

What is meant by being a "spiritual man"?  It means being one who has placed himself under the total subjection of his spirit, one whose whole man is governed by his spirit.

soul_controlled

It is the soulish (soul-controlled) person who gains assurance by grasping things that can be seen and felt.  The opposite of sight and touch is faith. One who follows the spirit lives by faith, not sight (2cor.5:7).

Center Outward

One way to discern between the work of God and the work of Satan in one's spiritual life is this: God always works from the center outward to the circumference, while Satan works from the circumference inward to the center.

Experiencing God

"Our knowledge of God rests on the revelation of His personal presence. . . . Of such a presence, it must be true that to those who have never been confronted with it, argument is useless while to those who have, it is superfluous."

Don't sit back

Don't sit back and be passive. You've got to hold you head up high and know that God wants you to be favored.  He wants you to shine above your circumstances.
